Scott McCloud Reading

I have never been a big comic reader, but I enjoyed reading this article. I found it interesting how McCloud illustrated his points in a very simple and comprehensive way. My favorite part was the different techniques used to depict the passing of time, or a sense of time, in comic strips. These techniques could be also used in our stop motion animation projects. As all art through history, it was cool to see how the comic strip had evolved over the years in different cultures. After reading this article, I felt the urge to find a newspaper to read the comics and look for the techniques McCloud described.
